1. Create a pouch by bringing
the bottom 'rail' up against your chest and the top 'rail' up in front. Make
sure there is enough room to place your baby in easily.
|
2. Lift the upper 'rail' out
as you lower your baby into the pouch. His head may be toward or away from
the rings.
Note: these images show the
baby's head being placed toward the rings.
|
3. This image shows baby
lowered deeper into pouch. The 'ring-side' arm can assist by lifting out the
front rail making more room to deposit baby.
|
4. Pull the outer rail up so
your baby is secure within the pouch and all of the loose fabric has been
pulled around from your back to the front.
|
5. While supporting your baby
firmly at carrying height, adjust your sling by pulling on all sections of
the tail until your baby feels secure and you are both comfortable.
NOTE: Pulling the middle section
of the tail will make the pouch shallower which is preferable for small
babies.
|
6. Depending on your personal
preference, the tail can be left hanging downÉ.. |
7. É.or tucked up under your
baby's body or head for added support (as seen here), when the baby's head is
away from the rings.
|
NOTE: Tail tucked up under babies head. |
8. The Tail can be used to
offer shade or breastfeeding privacy, as desired.
|
9. Two babies can be worn at
once in the cradle position with their heads towards the rings. The rings are
in the centre of the mother's chest with her baby's body cradled around her
side. One sling and baby are
placed first before the second. NOTE: Twins may also be carried in the hip
position using two slings.
