need to observe nature

I read the articles on your site. The sad fact is that we simply need to observe nature and ask ourselves what feels right (instinctive). It is very rare that we can improve on the original design of anything in the natural world. With child rearing, just look at what all the other mammals do. Look at other primates. To think that we are so very different is frankly arrogant and shallow. I think there must be a substantial community of parents in the US that agree with you since I seem to know several in my immediate circle of friends. I hope so.
