The Pocketless Hugabub is used in the same way as the pocketed styles, however the pocketed wraps do offer more support for bigger or heavy babies, due the double layer of fabric.

The pocketless wrap carrier can be experienced as cooler in hot climates and is a great choice for anyone wanting to use it primarily during the first 6 months when bub is still small.

For the babywearing enthusiast it makes purchasing a hugabub wrap carrier for the first few months.

(While very simple in appearance, the pocket on our other carriers is surprisingly the most complex, time consuming and expensive part of the manufacturing process, thus the big difference in price.)

My baby is 4 months old and likes to be carried facing out to the front. Is this position ok for this sling?

HI Jess, Yes, you can carry your 4 month old is the face out position. We do however recommend that you try to wean him into enjoying the face-in postion, so that you can enjoy carrying him for longer periods of time and/or while he is sleeping. If you pop him in a few times when you know he is tired and ready for a sleep, leave his arms outside the wraps if he fusses and bounce around or go for a walk until he sleeps. Leave him in for as long as you are able to the first few times and he should quickly develop a positive association with this position. Hope that helps.

We would still recommend you choose a size that will best fit you. The Huggable size will fit an XXL male, but it is also OK for men to tie the Hugabub at their backs if there is not enough fabric to tie at the front.
