Popular baby brand Hug-a-Bub has thrown its support behind Rainbow Families, a community managed organisation that provides support to children and families within the NSW Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTIQ) community.

The newest Hug-a-Bub baby carrier features the rainbow flag, the most prominent symbol of the international gay rights movement.

The flag has brilliantly saturated stripes which are said to communicate beauty, diversity, and power.

Each Rainbow Hug-a-Bub purchase will see $5 donated to Rainbow Families to assist them to run playgroups, parent education sessions, discussion forums and social activities, all of which is designed to connect and build resilient families.

Led by a committee of passionate LGBTIQ community members and supported by parent volunteers located all over NSW, the organisation promotes the affirmation and celebration of rainbow families.
