Why do so many parents recommend Hug-a-Bub baby carriers?
Your Hug-A-Bub Is So Supportive
Your Hug-a-Bub is as comfortable and as cool as your favourite cotton t-shirt. So it's a surprise and a delight to experience how supportive and secure it is. This is why Hug--a-Bub consistently receives 5 star and similar reviews on Product Review. When you correctly tie a Hug-a-Bub, your baby is at one with your body, firmly carried with their spine supported in its natural convex (rounded) shape and legs froggied in a spread/squat deep seat. It's a secret known to Hug-a-Bub fans, and a delight for first time wearers. To ensure your baby is firmly positioned in your Hug-a-Bub, pay attention to the tightening instructions on the online videos and in your step by step instruction book, free with every Hug-a-Bub.
Don't just take our word for it, the substantial postural and developmental benefits are recognised by experts. Hug-a-Bub is endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the Reflux Infant Support Association (RISA), and is listed as a hip-healthy product by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IDHI).
Your Hug-A-Bub Feels So Good Across Your Back, You'll Smile In Delight
If you keep the fabric ties wide as you wrap, Hug-a-Bub's ergonomic design will evenly distribute all the weight of your baby around your torso, from shoulders to hips, reducing strain on your shoulders, neck and back. It's a glorious feeling, and one that brings a smile to the face. It's so good it feels therapeutic.
As we said, the Australian Physiotherapy Association officially endorses Hug-a-Bub Wrap Carrier. Physios recommend Hug-a-Bub for wearers with chronic back problems. A physio quoted in a Choice magazine road test said "The width of the fabric allows the weight to be distributed over a larger area and the straps can be made very wide which makes it more comfortable to carry the baby."
At Last! You Are Free To Get Things Done
Because you want to get things done, and because your baby wants to be held, you will love the ability of Hug-a-Bub to do what your hands normally do, and that's securely hold your baby. Hug-a-Bub does a better job than most carriers in firmly holding your baby so that you can have your hands completely free.
When tied correctly, with special attention paid to the tightening part of the instruction video or images, your baby will feel amazingly secure and tightly held against your body, so much so you will be able to bend forward with your baby remaining hugged close to your body. Of course use common sense, and take care to ensure baby's head remains properly supported.

Enjoy Peace Of Mind Baby Care
When worn correctly the Hug-a-Bub is one of the most secure baby carriers on the market. There are no clips or buckles that can break or seams that can come undone. When tied correctly, baby really is securely held against your body and it becomes possible to bend over and get all sorts of things done. Always use common sense, and don't do anything you wouldn't do when holding your baby in your arms.
Peace of mind comes from knowing you've made the best choice for your baby. Not only is Hug-a-Bub developmentally the best choice, it's the best choice for your baby's future as a citizen of this fragile planet. Hug-a-Bub is certified Fair Trade manufactured and made with quality 100% certified organic cotton. As well, every Hug-a-Bub plants a tree to help restore deforested lands through Eden Projects.
Your choice is good for your baby, good for you, and good for the planet.
Suits Newborns Especially, But Can Be Worn For Older Babies
Hug-a-Bub is suitable from newborn (3.5 kg) up to toddler (14 kg). It's an everyday must-have for newborns to 3 months, but it's fair to say that you would use a Hug-a-Bub occasionally rather than regularly when babies get heavier, say over about 9 kg. Occasional use for older babies is a wonderful way to remind them of your love. Older babies love being cuddled, so for at least as long as you still pick them up, they will feel lighter in a Hug-a-Bub.
While it may be used carefully to promote skin-to-skin/kangaroo care with premature babies, this does necessitate that you seek medical advice prior to wearing with a low weight baby.
You Know Your Baby Is Being Safely Carried
Hug-a-Bub has long been recommended for both its comfort and safety by a myriad of baby and maternal health care professionals including physiotherapists, midwives, lactation consultants, occupational therapists and early Childhood nurses. It is also frequently used in special care nurseries in Australian hospitals.
We've said it before and we'll say it again, Hug-a-Bub is named as a Hip Healthy Product by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and is endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
